In order to know where your page stands for any keyword you can go to http://www.tools4google.com/search-google-position/keyword_tracking.php and follow the simple instructions there.
If your site is not among the top 10 first places for any keyword you can still offer it to sell text links as long as your Pagerank is bigger than zero. You go a site that functions as broker, for example Teliad, and list your blog or page to receive text links. The broker will charge a monthly fee to the potential customers and will give you a percentage of it. Your job here is to create a link on your blog or site linking to the customer site with the anchor text He requests.
The objective of buying text links is not only to get traffic but also to increase the popularity before Google bots in such a way that the customer site climbs places when somebody types the keywords used as anchor text in your blog or page. Some customers like to have the links among the body of the text and some others aside the text. The price varies with the position. This is the method I am working long term with. The process takes months to years to produce results. First of all you need to define the market niche you will attack. It is possible to use the Google Toolbar with his Pagerank functionality but it will take you 4 to 5 times more to get the same information. It is up to you.
The process is as follows: You go to GKeyW Tool page, select the older version and type the keywords you want to know if are good candidates to fight for. Those keywords that have more than 10000 unique searches, and pay one dollar or more, are potential candidates to be utilized to build a blog and try to put them in the first spots on search engine page results. You can also select keywords that when you multiple searches times dollars give you a result bigger than 10,000.
After you get those keywords then you open Mozilla Firefox and go to Google. Type in Google page the keywords and review the first 5 results. If no one of them have Pagerank bigger than 3, then you have a winner keyword. If you are not able to find any winner keyword on the first trial, do not desperate and continue looking for more candidates at GKeyW Tool. It is much better that you invest some time at this point of the process and not have a bad keyword that will make you invest much more time later, or worst a failed keyword that will not give you any money.
Once you have found a winner keyword then create a page containing your keyword in the name of the URL. You may not find the exact name with your hosting provider, if that is the case then just add at the end, and I remark at the end, some generic word as guide, guideline or something like that which makes sense. Go and create your blog putting your keyword in every post with diverse variations. At this time you should have realized that you will need to learn how to create a blog optimized for search engines. Just do it.
Once you have your blog built up optimized for search engines then you need to get as many links with your keyword as the anchor text as possible. This is the core factor for your page to appear on the first spot in Google. You must dedicate all of your time to get links. There are many ways to get links. You can do it one by one or pay for a service to obtain a bunch of them at one shot. You can purchase text links from other sites. You can buy articles and publish them with your links. There are those options and more.

Your backlinks must be built with your keywords as anchor text. Search for sites that are related tou your market niche. Also pages that have authority for search engines. And that is all. Create an insane amount of backlinks. Create thousands of backlinks. Create millions if posible.
Once you put your page on the first page of the search engine, you will need not more big efforts to receive visitors. They will come to your page through the search engine. And if you made a good research for your market niche, your visitors will probably buy your products or click your ads. And there you will make money online. The difference with affiliate systems is that, once on the first spot, the maintenance work is very low. You do not need to be writing every day, just when you see your blog drop from first spot at the search engine. You write another post and get a few more baclinks.
Of course there are more methods to make money online such as surveys, product testing and similars. Those methods give you a few dollars and they are like being a regular employee. You need to work every day and there is a limit for the money you can make. The methods I described in this post require hard work and time but there is no limit for the money you can make. Once you put your page on the first page of the search engine, you will need not more big efforts to receive visitors. They will come to your page through the search engine. And if you made a good research for your market niche, your visitors will probably buy your products or click your ads. And there you will make money online. The difference with affiliate systems is that, once on the first spot, the maintenance work is very low. You do not need to be writing every day, just when you see your blog drop from first spot at the search engine. You write another post and get a few more baclinks.
Of course there are more methods to make money online such as surveys, product testing and similars. Those methods give you a few dollars and they are like being a regular employee. You need to work every day and there is a limit for the money you can make. The methods I described in this post require hard work and time but there is no limit for the money you can make. We have heard or read that Google is very random when acting behind his algorithm in order to stop those ones who try to use black hat SEO techniques. I will talk about my own experience. I have created several blogs using Blogger, the free plattform that Google provides for every body wishing to spread his ideas. My objective is not only to spread my ideas but also to make money.
With that idea in mind I work to create unique content with targeted keywords that are well paid by Adsense. So, I entered the Adsense program, which is owned by Google also and pays per click. This means I get money every time some visitor clicks on the ads displayed on this blog and goes to the site that is paying for the advertisement. Hopefully they buy something, which is very probable due to the CTR.
I created another blog for a certain market niche and joined an automatic content creation service that was sending posts in a systematic manner to that blog. The last time that Google reviewed its algorithm included a feature to detect those kind of blogs created in its Blogger plattform. And when it found my blog decided to close my account. It completely erased my iGoogle account, mi gmail, my adsense account, my adword account and all my blogger blogs.
It was surprising, but I had already created another set of blogs of my own. So it did not make me surrender. When I tried to access my adsense account, Google established that as I had not surpassed certain amount of cummulative earnings they would not pay me anything. All of it is in the Terms and Conditions. So when I signed my contract I accepted all those Terms and Conditions. I did not waste my time and energy getting angry with Google. I continued working with my other non Blogger blogs and changed my Adsense settings in order to create a new account.
Google accepted me to change my Adsense settings and restarted my account but I started from scratch. It erased everything. I had to connect all my sites back again. After a few days mi gmail and Adword account were restored back, but Google did not restore my blog with autopilot content. It told me that the blog had been erased because it was spam. During the few days that Google disconnected me I investigated what had happened and found that Google had erased thousands if not milllions of blogs from Blogger which were determined to be spam by the new tweak in the algorithm.
I have recommended Adsense and still do it. I have also recommended to follow Google conditions and I still do it. If you are doing something that is not accepted by Google they will find a way to make you meet their Terms and Conditions. As they explain, tehy will not go towards a single site, they will go towards all the sites that have used black or grey SEO techniques at once. It is established by them.

For example, if we want to make more money with less effort, we think that all we need is to wish it and then do something. But the results are not as expected because wwe did not change our inner belief and this will sabotage us.
After a while we realize that nothing changed, we did not get money as we planned. Moreover we are now frustrated and anger because we have failed. We feel that we have been scammed by those who told us we could make money. And we reinforce our inner idea that money is hard to get and that we do not deserve it because we wanted to cheat the destiny.
But we are not conscious of this process which takes place inside our brain without letting us understand it. We need to understand that before we decide to get more money, we need to modify our inner beliefs about the money. We need to think that we deserve it. We need to think that the money we have is not proportional to the effort we make. It is proportional to our beliefs. When we make our personal finance plan we need to include this factor.

Beginners Do Not Get Easy Money
It is my personal opinion that beginners are a good source of income for seasoned marketers. A bunch of newcomers to internet look for ways to get easy money; and are willing to invest a little money if they are offered with a very well kept secret that will unleash some magic influx that will show them the way to wealthiness.
Sooner than later, the beginner realizes that there are not magic words neither undisclosed secret behind the promise that He paid for. There is only an internet marketer that has been around for some time doing that kind of promises to every new money seeker He mets.
Most of the beginners jump to a second and third and may be more schemes that claim to be the one and only system that really delivers results. After awhile the beginners get tired or broken. The money they were willing to invest was spent time ago and probably they acquired some debts that will have to pay with their offline jobs.
The result for a lot of people who enters the wild world of internet thinking to get money is losses. They do not just get not money, they also may get debts. It may happen they increase the debt they could have before playing his chances at internet.
